Cloud Manager is a tool for orchestrating the deployment and management of PeopleSoft environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). End-user organisations will be relieved of some of the burden of maintaining, creating, and administering Oracle Cloud infrastructure.

Operating System Image - The Oracle Cloud CM operating system image is used to provide VMs and build environments. Infrastructure Parameters - On this page, you can customise settings such as provisioning and administration. Mos Credentials is the name given by my Oracle support for entering MOS users and passwords. The Cloud Manager Parameters Page allows you to tailor system settings to your specific requirements.

To configure the image's public key, navigate to the Settings page and select the "My Settings" tile. Set up the PUM source: This page configures PUM sources to update Cloud Manager applications and manages PUM connections using Cloud Manager settings. File Server: Use the Cloud Manager settings on this page to configure file server repositories in the Cloud Manager. On the File Server page, select and configure File Storage Services (FSS) for the file system.

Administrators can subscribe to the release channel in the repository tile to receive the most recent peoplesoft jobs chicago application updates and download them from PRPs to the Pi. Customers must subscribe to the appropriate channels for the base prem versions. Topology of Infrastructure Layout Creates a topology in Oracle Cloud Manager. A topology is a virtual machine abstraction that defines a set of nodes. A defined node stores the values for each node property, such as operating system, VM shape, disc capacity, PS, and installed components. The following steps must be taken in order to configure a PeopleSoft environment in Cloud Manager Fluid. Environment Templates Environment templates help with the creation of new templates as well as the editing, deletion, and cloning of existing templates. On the Cloud Manager Fluids home page, select one of the environment templates that are pre-installed. The home page of the Cloud Manager includes links to the environment tiles. Migration from local PeopleSoft environments to the Oracle Cloud can be automated using the Cloud Manager. LIFT is a tool that allows Cloud Manager to elevate an application's application level (or intermediate level) and package it as a DPK. The database layer is also covered by a separate DPK. The LIFT / SHIFT step is where you finish configuring the database, web server, and app server. Cloud Manager connects to the database via Hot Backup. Hot backups are performed using RMan Recovery Manager, and the Oracle Database Cloud Backup Module (ODCBM) included with the lift software. Shift enables customers to use Cloud Manager to manage scale-in, scale-out, and clone environments. A new environment is created automatically in the Oracle Cloud. Manual setup is accomplished by copying DPKs from the source to the destination. After performing the shift actions in Lift, the Lift Utility updates the shifting topology to the correct VM form (Nodedownloaded). The Cloud Manager executes the Lift utility in the on-site environment created by uploading the customer application DPDKs to Oracle Cloud Services using the Cloud Manager. They may be used to create an ongoing application environment with intact customizability.
